GPS Locator.

GPS locator allows the capture of accurate location based information using any Bluetooth or wired GPS receiver. The capture is fully automatic not requiring any user interface. To capture GPS data the user must have a compatible mobile phone and a digital pen application set up for GPS capture. Multiple photos can also be attached to a single digital form and these images along with their form data, are uploaded to the server and can be reviewed using FM and can, in turn, be forwarded to the customer's own servers.

How it works it works.

The user completes a paper form using a digital pen. On completion of the Digital Form, all data from the pen is sent to the mobile phone. Once the application on the phone receives the data (about 3 seconds) the phone automatically searches for a GPS device in range. The co-ordinates are retrieved and sent along with the Digital form data. The data is received by the FM Forms Management suite where the user can see the digital form and the location where the form was sent. The system supports Lat long, Postcode and full street level location data. If required, mapping of the location can also be made available on FM.

GPS Accuracy.

The accuracy of co-ordinates uploaded to the servers is governed by the GPS device that is used.
